Felicia Harper, M.Ed., MHC-LP
Ms. Harper is a Clinical Mental Health and Certified School Counselor. She graduated with her Bachelors in Psychology and minor in Criminal Justice as well as a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both from St. John’s University. Ms. Harper has devoted over 10 years of work exploring the components of youth and family development in private and public settings. She has presented on restorative practice on the award winning NPR radio program, The Takeaway, discussing the urgency of transitioning discipline practices in school to better prepare adolescents with real life character tools. As part of a holistic effort, she is part of the NYC panel of Mentor Restorative Justice Pilot Schools Initiative, where she assists underperforming schools in the local area.
Ms. Harper’s work with restorative practices lends a hand in working with those that committed a sexual offense as they begin a new journey. They will explore the roots to their crime, process empathy and redemption, as well as enhance their life skills for a promising future.
